The location was marvellous and fab, for example, a landmark tower was not too far from the hotel. Stunning and tidy units with bar, clean bathroom, lovely bed, and the staff were fantastic.

hotel is very well located, you can see that it has been renovated relatively recently, staff in general is friendly and views from the terrace are very nice

I liked the hotel and it met the expectations but I have two specific complaints. The first is that because of problems with the flights my partner arrived at the hotel at 12 o'clock at night. as usual she was exhausted and went straight up to the room, where I was already, without thinking, Exhausted and already in bed half asleep reception called the room. I repeat, later than 12 pm for my partner to lower ID, first... I had reported the situation upon arrival so they had record and secondly I think it is not time to phone any room, could have waited the next day, second complaint is that one night we went up to the terrace to have a snack around 9pm. kitchen closes at 9, 30pm but we didn't know it. We called the waitress repeatedly. if they cut us drink but did not attend us to take note of dinner, She didn't come until 21. 35. she told us that she couldn't give us dinner anymore because the kitchen had already closed, rest of the stay was fine... Kind workers. good cleaning and location,

The views from the 9th floor Skybar were amazing. The hotel is perfectly situated just a short walk from the old town. Clean and spacious room added to our comfort.

Limited hot breakfast options.

Great room on the 5th floor with sea/port views, white sheets, slippers. There are Russian and German TV channels. I recommend booking a table in the Blausky bar and enjoy a chic sunset over the city and port, the photos are great. In the same bar in the morning breakfast is served, perhaps the best in 2 weeks of our trip to Sardinia. One view of what is worth, the domes of churches and cathedrals, the roofs of the old city, the sea, yachts. The location of the hotel is excellent, both in the city center and by the sea. The beach belonging to the hotel has not been visited.

The shower cabin is at floor level and water flows out, even when we tried to wash gently.

Air conditioning issues make it frustrating!!! Cold water during peak shower times can ruin the experience!!! Sound insulation feels inadequate!!! Limited parking availability can be a hassle!!!

Property was great and pretty, I really enjoyed the stay.

I had a fab trip and would stay here again without hesitation. Everything was wonderful, awesome location very close to close to historic centre, and boardwalk, obliging staff. Thank you for the excellent service you offered me, including shuttle to the beaches. By the way, I paid gbp 13 per day to get parking lot.

Hi, The hotel was fantastic and the staff (all of them) couldn't do enough for my wife and me, especially knowing that we were celebrating our 32nd Wedding Anniversary with them. They even upgraded our room to a Junior Suite (8th Floor).., Brilliant!!!! The view from the Bar/Breakfast Room (9th Floor) was stunning, precisely what you see in the advertising of Hotel Catalunya. I would defiantly recommend this hotel to all. There is a very strong chance that my wife and me will be returning back to this hotel, which is something that we don't normally do. I thought the breakfast was rather meagre for a four star hotel.

It was a very good location, near to the old town and a short walk to the harbour and beach. The Sky bar on the top floor had a fantastic view of the harbour and hold town - great place to watch the sunset.

The hotel was very old fashioned, it was not a 4*, more like a 3*. We had asked for one double bed on booking but arrived and was two twin beds.

Breakfast staff were attentive to dietary needs.

Location is very near the old part of Alghero and I like the view from the bar of the 9th. Floor which is also the B'fast area.

That in a four star hotel in 2011 there is no internet in the rooms.

Location is excellent - nearby Old town, port. The breakfast was delicious and with fabulous view to the sea, park and fortress. Seated us very quickly.
